Power-over-Ethernet ( PoE  Solutions )

Power over Ethernet (POE) is a technology that lets network cables carry electrical power.

Specifying Power over Ethernet brings many advantages to an installation:

Time and cost savings – by reducing the time and expense of having electrical power cabling installed.  Network cables do not require a qualified electrician to fit them, and can be located anywhere.

Flexibility – without being tethered to an electrical outlet, devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points can be located wherever they are needed most, and repositioned easily if required.

Safety – POE delivery is intelligent, and designed to protect network equipment from overload, underpowering, or incorrect installation.

Reliability – POE power comes from a central and universally compatible source, rather than a collection of distributed wall adapters.  It can be backed-up by an uninterruptible power supply, or controlled to easily disable or reset devices.

Devices that use Power over Ethernet

POE has many applications, but the three key areas are:

VoIP phones – the original POE application.  Using POE means phones have a single connection to a wall socket, and can be remotely powered down, just like with the older analog systems.

IP cameras – POE is now ubiquitous on networked surveillance cameras, where it enables fast deployment and easy repositioning.

Wireless – Wifi and Bluetooth APs and RFID readers are commonly PoE-compatible, to allow remote location away from AC outlets, and relocation following site surveys.

This category of TreuPoz Series defined by IEEE802.3af standard for Power-over-Ethernet which was formally approved in 2003, defining  PoE  applications requiring  up  to  15.4W  of power.

TreuPoz R-Series PoE and  splitters allow  users to  bring  power and data to  an  array  of devices without  the  expense of hiring an  electrician to  bring  power to additional locations. Should the  device that  needs power  such as  a camera or VoIP phone not  be  PoE  compatible, there  are  splitters available  to  separate the  power  and  data while still eliminating  the need for and  expense of AC power  outlets.

This category of TreuPoz Series is able to deliver a complete range of fully compliant Midrange PoE with the most  selection available on today’s marketplace. The applications which  can be covered by TreuPoz T-Series include; wireless multi-radio access points, Pan Tilt Zoom security cameras with heaters, 802.11n wireless applications and IP phones with streaming video displays.

TreuPoz U-Series    IEEE802.3at PoE Plus (UP to 80W per Port)  

This category of TreuPoz Series though not defined by IEEE, it works within all of the safety parameters as defined for the IEEE 802.3at standard.

TreuPoz U-Series PoE has an output power of 60W to 80W per port and is designed for a much more diverse array of applications. More common applications can be found in use with computer workstations, LCD displays panels, WAP Array and complex POS systems.
